When did you start at Koss Olinger? October 20th, 2025

What is your role at Koss Olinger? Investment officer

Where did you grow up? Jacksonville, FL

Do you have pets? If yes, tell us about them. One cat named Sadie. We found her and her brother in a shelter and gave them both to our oldest daughter for her 8th birthday. Sadie was the runt of the litter but has a big personality. Every morning, she lets everyone know it’s time for breakfast. She loves her treats and spending time sleeping in the sun.

What is something people would find surprising to learn about you? I played baseball through high school and wanted to play in college. I tried out for the team at Tallahassee Community College. Unfortunately, I didn’t make the team, but I found out that I loved economics and studying the markets.

What do you consider to be your best quality? Patience.

If you could have dinner with one famous person from history, who would it be and why? Warren Buffett. I would want to ask about how he values companies and when is the time to buy or sell.

What is the best advice you have ever received? Choose Joy. During my wife’s cancer battle, she never lost hope and was the one that was always making sure that everyone else was doing OK. Her motto was always to choose joy, regardless of the situation.

What is your superpower? I’ve been told I have a high EQ (emotional quotient). As such, I can pick up and perceive what people are thinking and feeling before they say it.

What is your favorite food? Mexican.

What do you think is your biggest contribution to the Koss Olinger team? I bring with me almost 30-years of investment experience. I’ve been through multiple market cycles and have seen how both good investors, and bad, make decisions. I believe I can help institutionalize the way in which Koss Olinger looks at markets and hopefully help drive investment performance.
