What is your role at Koss Olinger? Executive Assistant

Where did you grow up? Arizona

Do you have pets? If yes, tell us about them. I have 2 cats and 2 dogs. The cats were adopted when my kids were little and are rarely seen around the house. Katniss and Rue love hiding under beds and avoiding all people. We have two dogs as well, Scout and Atticus. They basically rule the house and ask for pets anytime someone comes over.

What is something people would find surprising to learn about you?

While originally from Arizona, I have lived in Michigan, Texas, and Iowa as well. I moved to Gainesville over 16 years ago and love being near the beach. I have been married since 2001, to my husband Shaun and we have 3 girls: Emma, 21, and Ava, 19, both at UCF, and Lexie, who is in 10th grade at Buchholz High School. I am also the current President of Danscompany of Gainesville a local non profit dance organization.

What do you consider to be your best quality? I have a ‘get it done’ mentality and a growth mindset. I love to accomplish tasks.

If you could have dinner with one famous person from history who would it be and why? I think Benjamin Franklin would be an interesting person to meet. Would love to pick his brain about how the world evolved and his role in shaping our government and culture.

What is your superpower? I am able to analyze an issue quickly and come up with multiple solutions quickly and decisively.

What is your favorite food? Chocolate

What do you think is your biggest contribution to the Koss Olinger team? I am bringing some great organization skills and a positive attitude every day. I have a good depth of business experience, and I hope to use these skills to continue to strengthen Koss Olinger’s values and business model.
