The Equifax Data Breach: What To Do

By now you have likely heard about the recent Equifax breach. If you have a credit report you may have been impacted. Hackers accessed Social Security numbers, birth dates, addresses, driver’s license numbers, credit card numbers and other information. The major threat as a result of this hack is identity theft.

The Federal Trade Commission is now providing more information on the breach, plus resources to find out if your data was included in the breach and if it was what to do next.
