- What is your role at Koss Olinger? Client Liaison/Corporate Scheduler
- Where did you grow up? George Town, Cayman Islands/Apopka, FL
- Do you have pets? If yes, tell us about them. I have an orange tabby named Sokka and a tortoiseshell named Katara. They are siblings but couldn’t be more opposite of one another. Sokka believes he’s a dog or baby depending on the day, and Katara is the most uncoordinated cat you would ever meet. I love them both dearly.
- What is something people would find surprising to learn about you? I wouldn’t consider myself to be a very extroverted person. I’m often shy when meeting new people and don’t like to be the center of attention.
- What do you consider to be your best quality? My empathy for others.
- If you could have dinner with one famous person from history, who would it be and why? Elizabeth I–I have been fascinated with her since I was a child. While her childhood alone is enough to discuss for a lifetime, I have always found her commitment to her independence during a time when women were expected to be in the shadows inspiring. She was headstrong, bold, and extremely resilient. I would definitely want to pick her brain and see what kept her going through her life.
- What is the best advice you ever received? My grandfather passed this saying down to me from his mother–“A good name is better than a pocketful of money.” I am reminded that it matters most how we treat each other at the end of the day. My kindness and love for others are the most important legacy I would like to leave behind.
- What is your superpower? My ability to see the best in people.
- What is your favorite food? Oxtail (this is a popular dish from my country).
- What do you think is your biggest contribution to the Koss Olinger team? As I consider myself a very empathetic person and I care deeply about the connections I make, I am always looking for ways to improve the lives of those around me. I would also consider myself a problem-solver at heart and love finding solutions whenever possible.
